Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump may attract a record-breaking crowd Monday to the Civic Center of Anderson.
Organizers are bracing for up to 6,000 people to attend Trump’s 6 p.m.speech, which would shatter previous attendance marks for the 25-year-oldfacility.
To accommodate the maximum number of people, spectators will be required tostand during the event, with the exception of 100 seats behind the podiumfor special guests. There also will be risers for as many as 100 journalists, some of whom are coming from as far away as Europe, said Glenn Brill,Anderson County’s director of parks, recreation and tourism.
