2017年至2018年，在安徽、河南和新疆等地，再次出现镇压基督教地方召会----“呼喊派”的迫害案例。
根据中国人民最高法院主办的网站“中国裁判文书网”查找的信息，在安徽铜陵市、黄山市；河南的永城市以及新疆的奎屯市，分别有本地的基督教地方召会的成员因为聚会、传教和阅读相关的教会书刊而被抓捕判刑。
基督教地方召会是有中国著名的基督教领袖倪柝声和李常受领导创建的中国本土化的基督教。1949年后在中国大陆被列为“反革命组织”和“邪教”组织。因基督徒聚会时常常大声呼求主名，中国官方便称之为“呼喊派”。
倪柝声留在中国大陆，后来被抓捕判刑，上世纪70年代初死在劳改农场。李常受流亡台湾，60年初到了美国，在加州的安纳罕成立了“水流职事站”（Living Stream Ministry），成为基督教地方教会的总部。总部翻译出版了《恢复本圣经》和《晨兴圣言》等杂志，也出版倪柝声和李常受的基督教书籍和文集。但是这些书刊在中国大陆都被认定为“邪教刊物”而被查禁。
中国公安部门曾公布10多个“邪教组织”，“呼喊派”被列为排名第一而受到严厉打击！

In 2017 and 2018, there are new persecution of “Shouters” cases in Anhui, Henan and Xinjiang.
According to the website “China Judgments Online” sponsored by China Supreme People’ Court, there are Christian local church members being arrested and sentenced because of their meeting ,Preaching Gospel and reading of church books in Tongling, Huangshan of Anhui, Yongcheng of Henan and Kuitun of Xinjiang.
Local church was established in China by famous Christian leaders Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. After 1949, it was labeled as “Counter-revolutionary” and”Evil religious” group. Because members of local church often shouted loudly the name of Lord, Chinese government called them “Shouters”.
Watchman Nee stayed in Mainland China and was arrested and sentenced, in early 1970 he died in Labor Camp. Witness Lee exiled to Taiwan and then to the USA in 1960’s. He established “Living Stream Ministry” in Anaheim in California and became the headquarters of Local Church. The headquarters translated and published “Bible of Recovery Version”, “Holy Words for Morning Revival” and also books and selection of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. But these books are considered “Evil cult” materials and banned in China.
China Ministry of Public Security listed openly more then 10 “evil cults” and “Shouters” is always listed as number one and is cracked down severely.
