看到《常劲：《天安门》电影制作人和柴玲的是与非----我为什么在要求《天安门》电影制作人更正影片中关于柴玲的错误记录的公开信上签名》一文，附件有《天安门幸存者、参与者和支持者致纪录片《天安门》制片人卡玛·韩丁和理察德·戈登的公开信》。
公开信指责影片制作人遗漏“柴玲在1989年6月8日的录音讲话”说：
“上下文有助于理解真相，因此，对于你们，影片制片人，将柴玲在1989年6月8日的录音讲话遗漏掉，我们认为很不合适。在那盘录音带中，柴玲详细叙述了她在屠杀之夜的经历和见闻，这是制片人很应该留意的地方。然而，柴玲6月8日的录音讲话在贵片中几乎都没采用，如果采用了这些录音讲话，贵片中上述的录像带的翻译和剪辑的真实性就会成为问题----而在贵片中，5月28日那盘录像带倒是被大量引用，以吸引观众的注意。”
封从德《六四日记》。
这封公开信广为传播，公开信作者为“封从德等”。封从德最近出版了由余英时等人作序的《六四日记》，在公众面前有天安门事件历史权威的公信力。公开信中指责影片制片人“将柴玲在1989年6月8日的录音讲话遗漏掉”，又一处说：“几乎都没采用”，读者读后的印象是“没有采用”。这和我对以前看电影得出的印象不同。我从网上找出电影文本，发现在引用“柴玲1989年6月8日录音讲话”时，电影没有说出日期，所以，除非是对当时情况非常熟悉的读者，其他想求证的读者，也无法通过看电影中求证“是否用过”。
事实是：电影以下柴玲录音来自“柴玲在1989年6月8日的录音讲话”，电影引用的录音已经说明了柴玲最后留在广场。
讨论要有一个公平的事实基础。

I am Chai Ling, Commander-in-Chief of the Defend TiananmenHeadquarters. I am still alive.
I am the most qualified person to speak about what happened in theSquare between June 2nd and June 4th.
... Only later did we find out that some students still had illusionsabout the government and the army. They thought at worst they would beforcibly removed by the soldiers. They were exhausted and asleep intheir tents. These students were crushed by tanks.
... Some say two hundred students died. Others say a total of fourthousand people died in the Square. I don't know the exact numbers.

我是柴玲，保卫天安门广场指挥部总指挥，我还活著。
自六月二号到六月四号这段时间整个广场情况，我想我是最有资格的评论家。
……可是我们事后才知道，我们仍然有些同学，他们对这个政府，对这支军队还报有希望。他们以为顶多是军队把大家强行地架走，他们太疲劳了，还在帐篷里酣睡的时候，坦克已经把他们碾成了肉饼。有人说同学死了两百多，也有人讲整个广场已经死了四千多。具体的数字到现在我也不知道。

Some people said that two hundred died in the Square and othersclaimed that two thousand died. There were also stories of tanksrunning over students who were trying to leave. I have to say that Idid not see any of that. I don't know where those people did. I myselfwas in the Square until six-thirty in the morning.
I kept thinking, are we going to use lies to attack an enemy who lies?Aren't facts powerful enough? To tell lies against our enemy's liesonly satisfies our need to vent our anger, but it's a dangerous thingto do. Maybe your lies will be exposed, and you'll be powerless tofight your enemy.

很多人说,广场上曾经有两千人被打死，或者是几百人被打死；在广场上有坦克碾压学生撤退的人群，等等。我必须强调，这些事情，我没有看见。那么我不知道别人是在哪里看见的，我是六点半还在广场上，我一点都没有看见。
我一直在想，我们是不是需要用谎言去打击那些说谎的敌人，难道事实还不够有力吗？那么如果我们真正使用了谎言去打击说谎的敌人，那只不过是满足了我们一时的泄恨，发泄的需要而已。而这个事情是个很危险的事情，因为也许你的谎言会先被揭穿，那么之后的话,你再也没有力量去打击你的敌人了。
