英国监管机构已经批准使用牛津大学/阿斯利康公司的新冠疫苗，这种疫苗比一些竞争疫苗更便宜、更容易分发。英国也成为首个批准牛津大学/阿斯利康疫苗的国家，该疫苗将从1月4日起开始分发。

牛津和阿斯利康新冠疫苗在临床试验中效果不如另外几种新冠疫苗。此款疫苗也还未在美国销售。
