欧阳夏丹毕业于中国传媒大学。在上海电视台工作四年后，于2003年进入央视经济频道。2009年7月调入中央电视台新闻频道。2011年8月加入了《新闻联播》的主持人队伍。曾获得过央视十佳主持人、央视十佳人物、金话筒奖等荣誉。
