纽约邮报等外媒报导，芮亚娜今年23岁，曾就读东肯塔基大学（EKU），2018年起犯下一系列前科，包括盗窃、诽谤、持有赃物、蓄意破坏、窃取枪械、藐视法庭、持有管制药物等，2020年还因恐怖主义威胁及跟踪而被捕。
芮亚娜在过去5年留下11张嫌犯大头照，上周开始陆续被Instagram帐号“mugshawty”分享，未料许多网友竟被圈粉，甚至留言告白，“她唯一的罪过就是偷走我的心”、“我会付100万美元买你的内裤”。
