　　日前男子出庭时在法庭上笑着认罪，丝毫没有悔意，还主动要求法官判他死刑。

　　据《纽约邮报》（New York Post）报道，37岁男子格瑞斯（Steven Gress）在2025年2月情人节时，透过交友App Grindr诱骗16岁少女柯赛特（Miranda Corsette）到住处。他指控少女偷走自己的戒指，和伴侣布兰德斯（Michelle Brandes）殴打并虐待少女后将其杀害。

　　邻居曾看到柯赛特出现在格瑞斯家中，格瑞斯还对邻居抱怨：这个婊子偷了我的戒指，不肯还我，所以我一直打她。

　　格瑞斯的母亲也向警方供称，曾收到格瑞斯传送的柯赛特照片，照片显示少女全身赤裸、遍体鳞伤，伤势持续恶化。

　　警方认定少女在2月20日至24日间死亡。格瑞斯落网后供称，布兰德斯将桌球塞进柯赛特喉咙，并以保鲜膜包住她的脸，他声称自己来不及在保鲜膜上戳洞让她呼吸，所以才会导致少女死亡。两人随后将遗体载到布兰德斯母亲位于拉哥的住处，格瑞斯再用电锯将遗体分尸，装进垃圾袋后丢入垃圾箱。

　　今年8月19日出庭时，格瑞斯表示自己「没有杀死柯赛特」，但承认参与导致她死亡的行为。他甚至辩称少女「是自己杀死自己的」，因为她脸上的保鲜膜「可以自己拿掉」。

　　法官告诉格瑞斯，认罪将面临终身不得假释或死刑的判决，而格瑞斯毫无悔意，在法庭上笑着说：反正不管生或死都是两败俱伤。

　　他告诉法官，自己宁愿死刑而减少服刑时间，也不愿接下来50几年都在狱中度过。布兰德斯则否认绑架及谋杀罪，桉件预定10月22日进行审前听证。
