MANILA, Philippines–- Award-winning Taiwanese products spanning multiple industries will take centre stage at the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion during Taiwan Expo 2026 in the Philippines from September 17 to 19.
The pavilion arrives as Philippine businesses operate in a more challenging economic environment and face greater pressure to identify investments capable of improving productivity and competitiveness. Philippine GDP grew 2.3 percent year-on-year in the second quarter of 2026, while gross capital formation declined 9.2 percent over the same period。
Against this backdrop, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion provides corporate buyers, distributors and businesses with access to products that have undergone a competitive selection process based on innovation and commercial quality。
Established by Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Taiwan Excellence Awards evaluate eligible products across research and development, design, quality and marketing, with selected products recognised for their innovative value。
Unlike Taiwan Expo's industry-specific pavilions, Taiwan Excellence provides a cross-sector showcase of Taiwanese innovation, allowing Philippine visitors to explore recognised products and technologies from different industries in one area。
The pavilion complements Taiwan Expo's broader showcases in intelligent technology, green innovation, agriculture and food, beauty and wellness, healthcare and premium lifestyle。
Taiwan Expo enters the 2026 edition with a strong record of commercial engagement in the Philippines. More than 10,000 visitors and buyers attended Taiwan Expo 2025, generating approximately US$53.4 million in business opportunities。
Philippine corporate buyers, retailers, distributors and entrepreneurs will also be able to engage Taiwanese enterprises through Taiwan Expo's enhanced Business Matching Program。
