 　　美国媒体预测，堪萨斯州民主党联邦参议员候选人亚当·汉密尔顿击败共和党候选人、现任参议员罗杰·马歇尔，成为自1932年以来首名在该州赢得参议院席位的民主党人。

　　中西部的堪萨斯州是共和党的传统票仓，在过去三届总统选举中均支持特朗普。

　　美国有线电视新闻网最新预测显示，民主党在参院获51席，民主党将夺回参议院控制权。稍早前，美媒预测民主党夺回国会众议院控制权。这意味着本次中期选举后，民主党重新掌控国会。
