中国若在南海攻击菲律宾，会采取行动
美国7月11日重申前总统川普政府立场，警告中国如果在南海攻击菲律宾，美国就会依照1951年《美菲共同防御条约》采取行动。
美国务卿布林肯（Antony Blinken）表示，“美国再次重申2020年7月13日针对南海的海事宣言，如果在南海对菲律宾武力、公共船集或飞机发动攻击，美国根据1951年美菲共同防御条约第四条，发动共同防御承诺”。布林肯在4月8日与菲律宾外交部长对话时曾提到类似言论，重申美菲共同防御条约适用于南海。海牙常设仲裁法院做出划时代菲中南海争议裁决届满5年，中国上周五仍强调，拒绝承认该判决结果，坚称在南海的“九段线”主权主张。除了菲律宾以外，包括台湾、越南、马来西亚和汶莱等国都质疑中国的主张。
