向北約看齊，日本自民黨考慮提高軍費占比

自民黨在2021年國會眾議院選舉競選綱領中提出防衛費占比達到2%以上。此次是安全保障調查會首次提出實現這壹目標的期限。《讀賣新聞》報道，安全保障調查會稱，需要“毫不猶豫地從根本上強化防衛力”。
日本2021財政年度防衛費用總額首次超過6萬億日元（約合475億美元），連續第九年增長。有分析人士認為，近年來日本不斷通過渲染周邊地區緊張局勢增加軍費預算，壹方面旨在強化日美同盟，另壹方面也在用行動不斷挑戰日本和平憲法的邊際。
