At present, at least 16 states in the United States have found cases of Omicron virus infection. The first case of Omicron reported in the United States was on the 1st of this month. Within less than a week, nearly one third of the States had reported Omicron cases one after another. According to American experts, it is likely that community transmission has already occurred. What does that mean? It shows that the Omicron strain has been spreading in the United States, but it has not been reported.
