美国国家广播公司新闻网（NBCNews）报导，位于亚利桑那州的大峡谷附近区域近日发生野火灾情，这场名为“白鼠尾草大火”的野火延烧面积已在过去24小时内爆增近20倍。
这场大火促使相关当局疏散大峡谷国家公园（Grand Canyon NationalPark）的500名游客，国家公园的北缘（North Rim）地区也持续关闭，直至另行通知。
美国政府追踪野火的网站显示，亚利桑那州雅各湖（Jacob Lake）社区附近的“白鼠尾草大火”（White SageFire），延烧面积已经在24小时内从1000英亩扩大到近2万英亩，目前未获控制。

美国国家公园管理局（National ParkService）指出，这场野火是在7月10日由雷击引发，促使当局官员疏散大峡谷国家公园北缘地区，至少在12日之前游客不得进入。
国家公园的官员表示，由于高温产生致命威胁，包括银桥（Silver Bridge）、河川小径（RiverTrail）和高原点小径（Plateau Point Trail）等步道于12日关闭。

国家公园管理局提到，“白鼠尾草大火”肆虐之际，附近的“龙布拉沃大火”（Dragon BravoFire）在大峡谷国家公园内部燃烧面积已扩大到5000英亩。这场野火是因为4日的雷击而引起。
大峡谷国家公园于社群媒体X平台发布一则贴文写道，“这个地区的高温、极低湿度、阵风和非常乾燥的植被”，形成野火爆发风险。
美国国家气象局（National WeatherService）预报该地区明天气温最高可达摄氏32度左右，阵风将达到每小时16英里。
