美国时间9月11日，陶哲轩等25位菲尔兹奖得主——也包括我国新晋菲尔茨奖得主邓煜——联合发表声明《人工智能在数学中的严重错位》（A Severe Misalignment of AI in Mathematics），抗议人工智能AI公司对数学领域的冲击。
A Severe Misalignment of AI in Mathematics
Over the last few months, the mathematical capabilities of LLMs have improved dramatically, to the point that they can solve major outstanding problems in many fields of mathematics. However, the push by AI companies to solve mathematical problems as a benchmark is detrimental to the science of mathematics, and to the mathematical community. The goals of the AI companies and the goals of the mathematical community are severely misaligned. We see these as part of broader alignment issues impacting other scientific and creative professions……

我能够理解陶哲轩等人的心情，当自己喜爱甚至安身立命的事业被冲击得七零八落的时候，任何人心里都不舒服，写程序的码农如此，下围棋的棋手也如此。
还记得2016年人类职业围棋选手被AlphaGo碾压后的惊慌失措，但时间过去了十年，棋手们已经坦然接受了在AI俯视和指导下研究围棋了。
