Two female police officers, who were too slow to catch a suspect fleeing on foot, jump into an Uber driver's car and demand that he drive them to chase the suspect down.

　　美国德州休士顿（Houston）一名Uber司机在路上行驶时，副驾驶座突然被打开，竟是一名女警跳上来激动喊道“走走走走！”让他意外卷入一场警匪追逐战。

　　Fox26 Houston等美媒报导，Uber司机贝恩斯（Anthony Baines）是一名曾赴伊拉克服役的美国陆军退伍老兵，8日凌晨正准备前往载客时，一名气喘吁吁的女警突然打开车门，跳上副驾驶座大喊，“嘿，请载我过去，那个方向，走走走走！”

　　贝恩斯不假思索猛踩油门，中途还停车接上另一名跑到筋疲力竭的男警，最终将2名执法人员迅速送抵警车旁，这次紧急任务才告一段落。

　　此过程被车内监视器完整拍下。贝恩斯回忆，“我对当时发生的事情感到非常震惊，这种事只会出现在动作电影里面，就是某人正在追另一个人，然后寻求平民协助。我当时肾上腺素狂飙，完全是凭着冲劲在做事。”

　　警方肯定司机帮助　可惜未抓获嫌犯

　　原来，警方接获报案得知，一名持武器男子在泳池边威胁枪杀一名妇女及其子女。未料，2名员警一抵达现场，嫌犯竟转身拔腿就跑，才演变成这段追捕插曲。

　　事实上，贝恩斯的行车纪录器还曾拍到嫌犯跑过他的车旁。

　　警方坦言嫌犯最终仍逃跑了，但赞扬这名退伍老兵挺身帮忙的勇气。

　　休士顿警察工会主席葛里菲斯（Doug Griffith）表示，警方此举并不违反规定，但Uber司机当下也完全有权拒绝，因为也没有任何规定强迫市民伸出援手。
